In the women’s category, Robo FC outscored Young Talents 4-0 in a one-sided game.

“Our victory was expected and winning the Lagos FA Cup, which had around 99 teams, is something I’m very happy with.

“The road to winning the cup was not easy, but we really prepared for it. I told the players the importance of the game and the strength of our opponents. We came back to them later by making two substitutions that did the magic.

“This cup is one of the greatest things I’ve ever accomplished. I’ve won a league before as an assistant coach, but I’m happier to win this one as a coach.

“As the competition progresses each year, we’re going to expand on what we’ve done before. The company will not limit its efforts and our partnership with Lagos State FA is a way of giving back to society, as a means of corporate social responsibility.
