Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, on Tuesday night, admitted that it is hard to play against Real Madrid’s Vinicius.
Guardiola said this while thanking Man City stars, John Stones and Fernandinho following his side’s Champions League semi-final first-leg 4-3 victory over Real Madrid at the Etihad Stadium.
Guardiola’s men defeated Real Madrid at Etihad, thanks to goals from Kevin de Bruyne, Gabriel Jesus, Foden and Bernardo Silva.
Karim Benzema and Vinicius did score for Real Madrid.
“I want to say thank you to Stones and Fernandinho,” Guardiola said at his post-match press conference.
“Stones worked very hard, Fernandinho only played once at right-back in his first season at Manchester City, it was not easy to play against Vinicius, the Brazilian striker was really good.”
Man City will face Real Madrid in the return leg at the Santiago Bernabeu next month.
