Mbappe to Real Madrid: Coaches can’t tell whole truth – Ancelotti reacts to Pochettino’s latest comment

Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has insisted that coaches can’t tell the whole truth.

Ancelotti said this while reacting to Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino’s latest comment that Kylian Mbappe would ‘100 percent’ stay at the Parisians.

Mbappe’s contract with PSG will expire at the end of the season and the France World Cup winner is yet to sign a new deal with the club.

The forward is widely expected to leave PSG this summer, with Real Madrid the frontrunners to land his signature.

Asked if Mbappe would be staying at PSG next season, Pochettino recently said, “100 per cent in both cases.

“That is how I feel today. That is what I can say to you today. I can’t say anything else. That is how I feel right now.”

However, When Ancelotti was asked about Pochettino’s comments ahead of Real Madrid’s clash against Espanyol this weekend, the former Chelsea and Everton manager hinted that Mbappe’s future might not be so certain after all.

Ancelotti said via the Athletic: “Coaches at a press conference can’t tell the whole truth.

“Madridistas think of two things, winning tomorrow and winning on Wednesday. That is what we think about.”
