EPL: Rashford not happy at Man United – Ferdinand speaks on England striker leaving club

Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, has insisted that Marcus Rashford ‘doesn’t look happy’ at the Red Devils amid reports the England striker is considering leaving Old Trafford.

Reports had emerged on Monday that Rashford was considering his future at Man United due to his lack of game-time so far this season.

The 24-year-old is set to make his 300th Man United appearance in the coming weeks but has only started nine of their 28 Premier League games this term.

Rashford found himself on the bench yet again for Sunday’s Manchester derby against City and failed to make an impact after coming on with half an hour remaining, with Ralf Rangnick’s men losing 4-1 at Etihad.

Asked about the reports suggesting Rashford could force a move away from Man United, Ferdinand told the FIVE YouTube channel, “That’s thrown me, I have got to be honest. If that is real, I can’t believe it’s real, I have got to be honest.

“If it is real, and let’s take it as it is, you can only talk like that when you are playing well. You can only talk like that when you are performing and scoring, and Marcus is not doing that right now.

“He has not played well for a while now. He doesn’t look happy at the moment, he doesn’t look happy at United. Tell me if I am wrong.
