EPL: He’s my darling, I really like him – Samir Nasri hails Man United’s new winger

Former Arsenal and Manchester City winger, Samir Nasri, has slammed those criticising Manchester United’s signing of winger Antony from Ajax over the summer.

Manchester United signed the Brazil international for over £82 million from the Dutch champions and some have argued that this is too much for a player who only scored twelve goals in the league during the 2022/23 campaign.

“I saw him last year in the Champions League. He’s one of my darlings,” Nasri said, according to Football365.

“I really like the player. He’s very technical, always taking risks. I heard a lot that they overpaid for him and that he’s a panic buy. For me, that’s not the case.
