Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola says he expects Manchester United to be more aggressive under their manager, Ralf Rangnick and without Cristiano Ronaldo in their starting XI to face his team in a Premier League derby on Sunday.
Guardiola spoke to broadcasters before the game.
Ronaldo was not included in Man United’s squad against Man City due to a hip injury, according to Rangnick.
Asked about Ronaldo’s absence for Man United, Guardiola said: “Every game is different. Always United is a tough opponent.
“Being upfront in the table or tight or behind, always a tough game in the previous seasons. Counter attacks with Ralf [Rangnick] may be different if Cristiano [Ronaldo] doesn’t play because they will be more aggressive for the philosophy he has.”
